Default Grammar
Could you please tell me if there is any difference between these two sentences? "I am sorry for not bringing your package yet or I am sorry I have not brought your package yet". Thank you in advance.

The first sentence sounds a bit strange to me. It is correct, but I wouldn't use it. I'd use it when delivering a package late and then I'd use 'before' instead of 'yet'.
