1. What's the difference between "especially" and "specially"???
2. Is it correct to say: "two pieces of homework"?
3. What's the preposition I should use for the word test: "in" or "on"? e.g.: The questions in/on the test were really hard. Is there any difference between American/British English?

1- Not much. They can be used interchangeably a lot of the time, but 'especially' can come after a subject and carry the meaning 'above all', while 'specially' can be used for having 'a particular purpose'.
2- Yes
3- In BrE, we'd be more likely to use 'in'. I think it's a BrE/AE thing, but I'll let an American confirm it.
