Default short leap of logic

I have met several times the expression "It is only a short leap of logic" but I can not realize the exact meaning. Could you please explain it?

Regards
Mary

Default Re: short peal of logic

I've never come across the expression. We talk of a peal of bells, when they ring, especially for things like marriages, but I've never heard it linked to 'logic'. If it were, it would probably express a pattern, as bells are rung in a sequence.
