I think is wrong.
I would say:
Don't worry about me, I have never chosen a wrong person before and I still haven't.
This is what I guess
Because if oyu say "had chosen" you are saying that that, this time, you have chosen a wrong person.
As far as I know, the past participle of "choose" is "chosen"
