    Which sentence is correct:

    I do not feel the need for the apostrophes in any of your sentences. Did you not mean this:

    the Judges' and Magistrates' different opinions
    the Judges and Magistrates' different opinions

    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
