    i would like to sent my bos a attachment. what proper way to write it?

    " Dear Sir

    Herewith an attachment for submission"

    is that correct?

    Writing to your boss is different from writing to another company. You can do away with the usual formalities in a letter. Messages within the company is called a memo.

    Granted, there are some certain attitudes when adressing a superior. But how can one be pleased to attach something? To me, it's a bit weird.

    How about being pleased after one has completed an assignment ready to be submitted to the boss?
