Default Correct a english text

Could you correct this text please :

They are true that people do not understand science. In spite of the last technological advanced, they haven’t succeeded in acquiring a scientific spirit. In the everyday life, the essential factors of this scientific spirit are ignored. Undoubtedly that the various methods of teaching are at the origin of the problem. Indeed, the pupil learns without means of intervening on the result of a long series of stages however essential. Vis-a-vis a teaching without explanations, the pupil does not manage to think what was undertaken to arrive at this discovery. He escapes knowledge and the elements to arrive at the result thus its creativity does not manage to gather is limited.
