So I guessed the writer was actually trying to say "If you take courses at our university, the credits can be transfered/recognized according to your university's related regulations." And that's why "it is recommended you discuss the number of credits you take in a semester with your counselor."
Does this make sense? | I think it does. I know of a Japanese student studying here in Canada as an exchange student. His courses from Japan were being compared with courses taken in Canada. The University decides which courses he can take and which he doesn't have to. I am not sure how that works but the workload for an exchange student is something like 12 credits or 4 courses. If the person is an exchange student all those courses are free. |
