Are those sentences correct? 1- Computers are used for getting all kinds of information and advice.
2- Computers are used for taking all kinds of information and advice.
3- Computers are used for giving all kinds of information and advice.
In case they are all correct which one is best?

2- You take advice, but it doesn't really work with information
3- OK, give information- you could use a better verb

I would use the infinitve here:

Computers are used to get information and advice.

If you want to put both in the same sentence, why not use 'send and receive'?
