Default checking of a few sentences 5

    Dear teacher,

Would you be kind enough to check out the plausibility of the following sentences?

We know the famous subjects of Shakespeare’ works:

Before dividing his kingdom among his daughters, King Lear is much pleased with Goneril and Regan and is sure they will take tender care of him to the end of his days.

In the first set of the tragedy Lady Macbeth thinks that after Duncan's death her husband will be the most powerful and happy sovereign of Scotland.

If King Lear and Lady Macbeth were alive now, they should tell us the following words:

King Lear: “Before dividing my kingdom among my daughters I was much pleased with Goneril and Regan and was sure that they would take tender care of me to the end of my days.”

Lady Macbeth: “Alas! I thought that after Dunkan’s death my husband would be the most powerful and happy sovereign of Scotland.”

    Thank you for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V.

tender care is not a winning phrase for me for everyday usage, but King Lear in not a everyday tale.

    Hi Tdol,

Thank you for your large-hearted condescension concerning the usage of wording “tender care”.

I am in expectation of your editorial amendments in essence yet.

    Regards,

    V.
