light-centered
Dear teachers,
what does "light-centered" mean?
I found this adjective in the following excerpt:
"Their pattern of yellow-bordered, light-centered black diamonds makes them among the most strikingly adorned of all North American reptiles".
My guess is that it means "with a clear color at the center". Am I correct?
Thank you, G.

The colour isn't necessarily clear, but it is a light colour. They haven't specified what colour!

Ok, but does light mean "not dark"?
