Do you mean the advantages and disadvantages of them independently or compared to each other? For example, non-verbal communication is a very good way of expressing emotions, but doesn't really work for expressing complex ideas. I can use body language to show interest or boredom, but I cannot analyse complex emotions, which I can with verbal communication.

I wouldn't compare them to each other as far as advantages and disadvantages. Instead, they complement each other. Everyone communicates nonverbally, but to communicate only nonverbally would be very limiting.
