Default Sentences instructure

I'm confused about these two sentences, whether they are correct or wrong

It is the first time that I'm using the sauna since january.

It it the first time that Iam using the sauna for two months.

Please explain to me if they are the same or different.

The since/for differences are correct- since + date/time of start of time period for + duration. However, I'd change the verb:

It is the first time I've used the sauna...
