how to approach a compare and contrast essay on the fictional writer in The Yellow Wallpaper and the fictional poet in Aurora Leigh

I am not familiar with either of them, but the universal approach is to draw two columns on a sheet of paper, one headed 'Yellow Wallpaper writer' and the other headed 'Aurora Leigh poet'. Then list in each column the ways the two differ or are similar: their characters, their ideas, their approaches to their art, their experiences, their ends, how sympathetically and in what way the actual writer portrays them, etc.
