| Hello Tdol, 1.The walk / tired / her . 2.The walk / bored / her . Really I don't know why "tired" is a past participle and "bored" is an adjective. Could you help ? Is it right to say they both are verbs (in the above sentences). Can we say: 1.She was tired by the walk. 2.She was bored by the walk. and 1.She was tired of the walk. 2.She was bored with the walk. They look the same,but one is a participle and the other is an adjective....I am really confused. Thanks. |

| It's difficult to draw a clear line in many cases, but itry putting them directly into the active and you'll find that you can't put the second into the active. That's your clue. |
