Omission of a pronoun???
I'm confused about omission of pronouns.
Your help would be very appreciated!
Below are some examples:
1) How to write English sentences using nouns
2) Applications using the technology can be found.....
3) Detection of virus XXX using a microscope
I think pronouns are omitted before "using" in these examples.
Is omission of the pronouns fine here?
Also, is it fine to use "using" here? I feel weird about it.
The subjects of "using" should be 1) sentences, 2) Applications, and 3) detection, right?
Those subjects are not living things, and can they really be followed by "use"?
