Default rephrase or translate into Spanish

Can you rephrase or translate into Spanish the following sentence?
This shouldn´t be passed around, but.... The point is to rephrase or translate the verb pass around.

Let's try rephrasing it and if that doesn't work, we'll move on to the translating into Spanish thing.

To pass around: to hand over from person to person, to go through many persons, to communicate openly, to get in the open...
