Are these sentences correct?


1.I started to get money from my parents.

2.I start working now.

Are these sentences correct?


1.I started to get money from my parents.

2.I start working now.

They're both correct, but the second is a little strange unless you are sitting at your desk informing people of what is very obvious. 'I have started working now', meaning I've got a job now, sounds more natural.
