Re: Understanding the Meaning Of.... What he did best at work was to NOT work. He wasn't very good at his job. The best thing he did all day was to go home at the end of the day.
That's my understanding.I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
