    To use is to employ, as in using a tool.
    I'm trying to use a rasp to reduce the size of the wood.

    "I am used to" has a different meaning - this means that I am familiar with something. I am used to the noise of the ocean.

    Yes, It can mean:

    1. Not to be sensitive to a stimulator anymore (for human perception)
    2. Get accustomed to something (developing habits)
