Dear Sanjay,
This is Ranjith and I am your teammate of on the “Bangalore Chaps” football team. I am writing to let you know about my unavailability for a short period.
I don't believe that this introduction is necessary. If you are a teammate, wouldn't the other person know you?
This is Ranjith, I am writing to tell you that I will be gone for a short time.
We are going to our home town, which is 600 kilometers away from Bangalore. The reason for the sudden trip is that my grandfather fell ill. My father and I have to take care of him. So I will not be available in the city for another 3 three weeks.
It is not a good idea to start a sentence with "We" unless you have described who "We" are. If you started the sentence with, "My father and I", the sentence would make more sense. In the third sentence you could use "We" or "My father and I...".
I like very much like the football team and the game. During the practice sessions, the coach teaches us a lot of techniques to pass the ball from one person to another person. Especially, the game which we won against the “Blue Warrior” team would be is a memorable one. I enjoy each and every moment of the game and practice sessions.
Sorely, I will be missing a few games for a short period, which I cannot avoid. After three weeks, I will rejoin the team. Please convey the this message to the coach and other team members.
I hope to hear your response soon.
With Regards,
Ranjith
