Default Mutated plural question

Please could you explain in simple terms why "informations" in the below question and answer is in correct:
“I’d like some informations about your courses.”
“Certainly, here’s our brochure.”
Thank you.

Information is an uncountable noun. It is never used in the plural.

I'd like some information.

We don't use 'information' in the plural, so I'd say it isn't correct.

There are three Informations in the airport. One is around the corner over there, another is right in front of you and the other is on the second floor. Good luck!
