Been vs. went Please could you explain in simple terms why the below answer is incorrect:
“Have you got any money?”
“Yes, I’ve been to the bank yesterday”

I don't think it incorrect. I could be wrong.

Teacher Re: Been vs. went You cannot use the present perfect with finished time expressions.
