is my essay correct in form

My biggest influence in life would be my family, they have encouraged me to go back to get my high school diploma. This was always something I regretted not achieving in life, by not having my diploma I was lacking of confidence while applying for jobs. After moving from New York 4 years ago, I came to Atlanta to better my self and to succeed in taking care of my family. It has truly been hard and unsuccessful with applying to jobs that’s requesting a high school diploma. Without my family pushing me to do better in my life and believing in the confidence that they knew I had.

My son Jamel is the oldest of my children and I am truly happy to have him as a son, he is always encouraging me to stay in there and keep my head up. Jamel, lives in New York, and I truly miss him and always dream of the times I spent with him playing baseball when he was little. That was some of my best moments watching and encouraging him while playing. My daughter Ashley, who is a wonderful person who I am truly bless to have always influenced me to go back to school and finish my education and to get a trade. Ashley, and I attend church together and she is always influence me to read my bible more and to get closer to god. I remember when my wife and I took her to college, I was so proud of her it brought tears to my eyes, but I knew this was what she wanted to do with her life. This trip to college with Ashley was the start of me ready to do something with my life. My wife Stephanie, who’s been with me since junior high school has influenced me at all times to do better with my life and to want more out of life. I can remember now hearing her say go out get want you want and don’t wait for it to come to you. Even though we have had our ups and downs I always knew she only wanted what was best for me. This is why I truly love her for continuing to push me as hard as she does.

While growing up I never had anyone to push me, or even acted as if they cared as to what I would do later in life. I can truly say that my family will always have a positive impression in my life. They have helped and loved me through all the rough times that we have shared. Once I receive my diploma they will get to see that thanks to them my life with my high school diploma will make all of our lives much more successful.
