    Default getting/tearing

I would like to know the subject of "get and tear" in the next sentence.

She tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress.

    That's a participle clause:

-She tripped on a curb and fell.
    -She got her clothes dirty
    -and she tore her dress.

As far as I understand the op asks whether "she" or "tripping and (then) falling" is the subject. And another thing I infer from the sentence, her socks for instance, are dirty but not torn. (Assuming that I know the distinction between clothes and a dress)
