    The whole sentence is rather long.No need copying the whole.Its following is:".…and they all put at me to do it,trying to make me feel like a kind of hero.."It is from a Chinese magazine by Mark Hager in the topic of Good Morning".

    There is no 'put at somebody'.
    Do you mean 'rely on me' ?
