For example "He got into a car accident, now he have to tell his mom about it" and "He got into a car accident, now he has to tell his mom about it"

Which one is correct?

(1) May I suggest:

He had a car accident, and now he has to tell his mom.

(a) You have two sentences:

He had a car accident. (past tense)

Now he has to tell his mom. (present tense)

(b) You used the conjunction and to connect the two sentences and

make them into one sentence.

(c) As you know, it is better to say he/she/it has when we make a

statement:

He has a car.

She has a computer.

It (the restaurant) has good food.

P. S. As you know, in questions and the negative, you do not use s:

Does he have a car? He doesn't have a car.

Does she have a computer? She doesn't have a computer.

Does it have good food? It doesn't have good food.
