Default Which one is better to use? Will or would?

A: I want to stop by John's house for a chat this evening.
B: He would/will be happy to see you.

Which one is better to use? Will or would?

    Plz explain comprehesively.
    Thanks in advance.

    They are both correct.
"He would be happy to see you" (if you go).
"He will be happy to see you" (when you go).
