Dear Friends,
Do we need an article in 'in such a? case'? For example, suppose that I want to make a birthday cake and I did not get the ingredients for it and I say:
In such a? case I will buy a cake.
Thank you.
Csika
Right. Anyway, is there such an expression as 'in such case'? Or is the article always nedded: in such a case?

Hello, Csika.
(1) I have great news!!!
(2) Please type in "in such a case vs. in such case" in the
search box at this website. The first two threads from 2003
and 2005 will give you a detailed answer.
(3) Thank you for asking that question. I, too, learned something
this morning.
Thank you
Thank you, TheParser.
