Since we're using the "if clause" in our English class, I'm not quite sure how to use it. It's not like I'm completely clueless about it, but I'm just wondering how and when to use this:
If he/she/it were...
I also read some lines with that if he/she/it were clauses in some English books. Also, if you were so kind to explain to me the "wish it/she/he/ were" clause (or phrase, if you must call it that). Your explanation and examples will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
