I am tutoring a Korean gentleman who is planning on returning to Korea and opening an English academy for children. He was planning on using his ESL college textbook. I believe the subjects aren't appropriate or motivating for young children. What ESL textbooks would be worth reseaching?

College books aren't going to fir children up. What will the age range be?

The children will range from 8-12, I believe. I have only worked with teenagers and adults using English as a second language, so I am not familiar with other texts, do you have suggestions for young children?
