Could you tell me what is "videomaker" in English ? I found this word in an Italian text, but I could not find it in any monolingual dictionaries. Is it correct to talk about someone who makes videos? Thanks.

Videomaker is not proper English, except perhaps as a name of video editing software. To reference someone who makes videos, I'd use filmmaker.

It could be used for someone who makes promotional videos, etc, to distinguish them from those who make movies, couldn't it?

I think so. I wonder can I write two words separately as "video maker" or "film maker" ?
What about others beside "video" ?
Can the following be correct? "candymaker" , "tablemaker" , "windmaker" ... or even "babymaker".
I'm not sure they are whether correct or not , but I think they are easy to understand, aren't they ?

As someone said earlier, if I heard "filmmaker" I would probably think you were talking about movies. I don't see a problem with "videomaker" if that is exactly what the person does.

I believe my former brother-in-law, who is in this field, refers to himself as a video producer. His company does video production.
