IHT dated July 29 carries the following sentence.

Tomas Lee has long dreamed of selling American consumers on Korean barbecue.

Looking up the dictionaries gave no clues. I’m sure it doesn’t mean “resell”. Please explain “selling American consumers on Korean barbecue”.
