| Today I read a Chinese book that talks about the meaning of colors, and it says that like Chinese "yellow" in English also has the meaning of erotic stuff. In Chinese if we say one person is "yellow" then he is lecherous and if we say someone's speaking is "yellow" means he always speaks something contain with too much sex. However, I cannot remember "yellow" has got the same meaning or useage in English. The only color I can think of in similar situation is blue....."blue movie".... Can someone make sure it for me? | To call someone "yellow" is to call them a coward. They are cowardly. |

| The only use of 'yellow' that has anything sexual that I can think of is 'the yellow press', a term used for newspapers and magazines that concentrate on scandals, etc. However, this term is rather dated. |
