To use has or to use have... Hello,
Please could someone inform me which is correct in the below sentence; has or have:
SAP currently has / have five PMP certified project managers...

Thank you for your prompt response. If, in this context, SAP refers to a company and not a program, would you still use "has"?

In any case, whether SAP is a company name or program, use "has".For singular noun, always use HAS

Re: To use has or to use have... I have to agree with Dany and babs, but I think I know where your question is coming from... I asked similar question. A company could be referred as 'they' or 'them', and that's probably why you thought it could be plural.
I could be wrong... I'm just another guy studying English as second language.
