Thread: Can somebody help me correct these sentences?

    Default Can somebody help me correct these sentences?

    1) She told me that i have miss out on something in class today beacause i was absent. So i called her and asked her what did i miss out on for today's class?/ What was it that i miss for today's class.

    2) I was told that if i don't go to class tommorow i will not be able able to receive exam tips/tips about the final exam from my teacher.

    3) Student will receive exam tips/tips for final exam if they go to class tommorow.

    Word = Corrected word
    Word = Corrected tense

    The text should be better now, maybe not perfect, but better...

    Rover, is my version of sentence #2 possible too?
    Maybe I confused "I was told" with the reported speech.

    Yes, your #2 is how I would have said that.

    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
