This go around.

I cut this extract from a famous news website, wondering if " this go around" is corect. to my limited knoweldge, it should be "goes around"?
India made similar threats to shut down BlackBerry services two years ago, demanding RIM give the government access to encrypted messages. This go around, New Delhi is also reviewing how to deal with 3G networks offered by private operators.

It's another way of saying "this time".

"go" is not the verb. It's being used here as a noun to mean "time" - "this time around" = "this time".
'Go' is a noun in "Have a go", "It's your go" (It's your turn).
"This go around" is not an idiom in standard global English, but could be in Indian English.
