Exclamation Help! Ellipsis or elision?!

4ArialPurple[B]B

I am about to take some A-Level exams and am still a bit unclear on one bit of terminology as different people/books offer different meanings.

When a character misses out some of their speech,
e.g. "What you doing here?" (the 'are' being ommitted),
should this be referred to as ellipsis or elision?

Thanks for any help.

Ellipsis is the omission of a word or words.
Elision is the omission of a sound or syllable.
