in a hospital/at hospital
Which one is correct:
He works in a hospital. or
He works at hospital.
If both are correct, what is the difference?
Is it possible to say-"...at a hospital"? When?
Thanx

Re: in a hospital/at hospital
With 'works', I'd use 'in'. If someone is being treated I'd use 'at'.

Apart from what Tdol says -
- , I would also add the use of articles. That is.
'in hospital' means as a patient as well as 'at school/ college, etc.' means as a student or 'to church' involves some kind of religious service.Compare these sentences to 'My Mum's in THE hospital' (Perhaps she works there or just visiting someone).
