fixing to
I´ve read a post where a husband complains: "Is my wife trying to shut me out?" . One of the answers was: "It sounds like she is fixing to again... as bad as I feel having to say that...". What does this "fixing to" mean? In what other context can I use it?

I wouldn't use it, it's an American expression. It means "planning/intending to".

Re: fixing to
This expression is common only in the southern US. It means "preparing to" or "just about to."
Did you change the oil in the car?
No, but I'm fixing to do that right now.
