invinitive vs simple present which sentence is correct:
1-
This is one of those cases of the programming language telling you that...
2-
This is one of those cases of the programming language tells you that...
may someone clarify me the difference?

Teacher Re: invinitive vs simple present First, the general rule is that you "tell" someone and you "say" something. Therfore, I would restate your example as, "This is one of those cases of the programming language that says........."
