Exclamation What Time Do You Have?

    Hello there,
Would someone tell me the meaning of this sentence.
    (What time do you have?)
What other terms you may use to mean the same thing?

    thanks.

Default Re: What Time Do You Have?

It means the same as "What time is it?". If the "you" is emphasised, it normally means that the questioner is checking the correctness of his/her own watch against that of the listener.

What time do you have? I think my watch is slow.

    Others:

Do you have the time please?

    What's the time?

    'Time's it? (v. informal)
