| I am not quite sure about the meanings of the following bracketed word and clause. Would you please do me a favor? 1. By October the days were (blue) and cool. 2. He wanted to reach out his hand and her touch sunburned, tousled hair -(not as he had ever touched a woman.) Thanks a lot. |

| 1- Not sure, could be a reference to clear skies. 2- He wanted to touch her in a way he hadn't touched a woman before- probably sexual. |
