a. The fact that you are foreign makes it interesting that I am working with you.
b. The fact that you are foreign makes it an interesting adventure that I am travelling with you.

Are the above sentences grammatical?

Yes. but they are not very elegant.

You are interesting to work with because you are foreign.
Since you are foreign, you make this trip an interesting adventure.
