Default business email

Dear Teachers,

we are in receipt in the following text taken from a business email
here means that we have received your order or we are still not received
your order I am a little bit confused about the right meaning.

Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your order as contained in the attached puchase
order form.

Are you trying to say - we received your order on the attached purchase order form?
