Thanks Nomi...

But..

1. How do they get spread?

2. Should we learn them?

3. How can we apply a very specific dialogue to general situations?

I had one catch pharses dictionary and I was amazed with the sources of these pharses!! Sometimes it came from a yelling in the middle of a football match!!

Really enteresting!

Why do things spread? What is the medium?

Most languages are spoken languages. It's quite interesting that, among those spoken ones, some don't even have its written form. I think the reason catch phrases become popular is because of "us". People carry the virus walking around you. And, if we are vulnerable, we're prone to contract a phrase when exposing ourselves in a catch-phrase-rich environment.

What do you think, beautiful little Latoof?
