Even though my dictionary says that "triggering" starts processes that are not welcome I don't agree.
On every oscilloscope, there is a trigger input for starting its time base at the moment when the external signal starts at its channel input so as the external signal can be easily seen on the screen of the oscilloscope. (to synchronise)

Yes. Actually i just started practice learning english by reading newspaper and i found that this setence was using "triggering". Then i found in the dictionary that this word more use with bad thing. so just need some help from someone can explain. and thank you for your advice.
