Apostrophe query
Hi there
I wonder if someone could put me right on the following apostrophe query?
Five year's experience or
Five years' experience
I believe it's the latter, but would be grateful for confirmation.
Many thanks

Re: Apostrophe query
You are right. Years has to be plural to agree with five. Therefore it is five years' experience. Of course five years of experience might work better.
Easiest to understand is ALWAYS best.
