haven't seen someome for a while
Suppose you haven't seen someome for a while. Is it correct to ask?
"What's has happened to you recently?"
OR
"What's been happening to you recently?" Grammatically correct?

Re: haven't seen someome for a while
WRONG ANSWER SORRY -according to Riquecohen
Not a teacher
I'd go for the first but in this way: "What's happened to you recently/lately?

In the context you´ve provided, the second sentence is the correct one. In a different context, the first one could be correct. "Your behavior has gotten worse this week. What has happened to you recently?"

Something like 'What have you been up to?' sounds more natural to me.

could this sentence be applied on things like
1-after meeting up with a friend after long time could I say tell me what have you been up to<<< in this context would it mean what is your recent news?
2-not understanding someone's certain behavior would it be correct what you have been up to<< in this context I mean i'm not able to understand you
