Please help to correct in case there is any error in it.


Data Backup and Security

There is a system in place whereby backing up of data from each Computer to Server is done daily at every two hours interval. The entire backup of users’ data is synchronized with an external Databank every Friday. That is, each user has a second-copy of his/her data on Server and a third-copy on an external Databank that is accessible by any authorized staff.

Also, data can be restored from the backup in the event of a hard drive crash or loss of data. The backing up of data is done automatically by software on a daily basis without user intervention. Recently, backup software has started having compatibility issue with Vista O.S. and that obstructs its performance. Therefore a proposal has been submitted to the management for upgrades. It is also advisable that no user should share any part of the hard drive for safety and security reasons.
